This Urtext edition combines both into one volume with revised and updated notation, instructive preface, introduction to Reger's performance practice and critical commentary by the editor-organist and Reger expert, Martin Schmeding. This edition also includes arrangements of pieces 5-9 by Karl Straube, organist and friend of Reger, produced in 1912 and 1919 'with the composer's consent'.
